Fire-Resistant Glass
Integrity and insulating fire glass supplied and fitted into tested frames.

Fire-rated glazing is glass that has been tested, together with its frame, beads and seals, to hold back fire for a set time. We survey, supply and install fire-resistant glass, glazed screens, doors and vision panels across the UK, and hand over the evidence that proves what was fitted.
Tell us what you need. We reply with next steps and a guide price.
The rating belongs to the whole system, not the glass alone. A fire-resistant pane in the wrong frame, with the wrong beads or missing seals, will not perform as tested. That is why every job starts with the evidence.
We fit glass, frames, beads and seals as one tested or assessed system, within its stated pane sizes.
We record what is installed and flag what cannot be proven, rather than guessing a rating.
Integrity where it is allowed, insulation where people need protecting — the choice that sets most of the cost.
Classification references, glass marks and installation photographs for your fire safety records.
Fire-resistance classes come from BS EN 13501-2. The letters say what the glazing stops; the number is the tested time in minutes.
Stops flames and hot gases passing. Heat still comes through, so its use on escape routes is limited.
Integrity fire glass →Also caps radiated heat at 15 kW/m², one metre from the glass. Reduces the risk to people and materials nearby.
How EW differs →Limits the temperature rise on the protected face, so people can pass more safely. Far fewer restrictions on where it can be used.
Insulated fire glass →Every service is supplied and installed, or surveyed, by specialists working to the manufacturer's tested details.

Yes. We arrange surveys and installation across England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland, and design to the building rules of the nation the building is in.
Work is carried out by specialist fire glazing installers working under S&K Property Investments and Improvement Ltd, which contracts with you and is responsible for the work.
We do not claim scheme membership on this site. We install tested systems to the manufacturer's evidence and hand over the evidence references so building control and your fire risk assessor can check them. If your project requires a certificated installer, tell us at quote stage.
Initial site surveys for quoted installation work are free and without obligation. Standalone condition surveys with a written report are chargeable; see our prices page.
A schedule of the glazed elements installed or repaired, the classifications, glass marks, evidence references and photographs of seals and fixings before they were closed up.
Small repairs depend mainly on glass availability; integrity glass is usually quicker to supply than insulating glass. Made-to-measure screens depend on drawings, approvals and fabrication.
